Service Policy
Pine State Pedals specializes in the setup, maintenance, and repair of electric bikes and personal mobility devices, including e-bikes, cargo bikes, trikes, and electric scooters.
Service is performed at our shop in:
Topsham Fair Mall
Topsham, Maine
All service is by appointment.
Labor Rates
Standard Service Rate:
$140 per hour
Labor is billed based on the time required to complete the service.
Diagnostic time is billed at the same hourly rate when required to identify mechanical or electrical issues.
Pickup & Delivery
Pickup and delivery service is available for customers who prefer not to transport their equipment.
Non-Members:
$100 round trip within 10 miles
Distances greater than 10 miles may be quoted individually.
Pickup must be scheduled in advance and is subject to technician availability.
Parts & Materials
Replacement parts and materials are not included in labor pricing and will be billed separately.
Warranty
All service work performed by Pine State Pedals carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
This warranty applies to labor performed and does not cover manufacturer component defects or damage caused by misuse or accidents.
Scheduling
Service appointments must be scheduled in advance.
Appointment changes or cancellations require 24 hours notice. Missed appointments may result in a service fee.

Annual E-Bike Service Plan
The Pine State Pedals Annual Service Plan provides discounted service and priority scheduling for riders who want professional maintenance and predictable service costs.
Annual Service Plan Pricing
$399 per year
Payment is due at enrollment.
Service Plan Benefits
Members receive:
• One Annual 21-Point E-Bike Tune-Up
• One Electrical System Check during the annual service visit
• Priority scheduling for service appointments
• Discounted labor rate of $95 per hour (standard $140/hr)
• 15% discount on most installed accessories
Member Pickup Rate
Service plan members receive discounted pickup service.
$50 round trip within 10 miles
Distances beyond 10 miles may be quoted individually.
Eligibility
This plan applies to:
• Lectric e-bikes
• Recon bikes
• Gotrax e-bikes
• other compatible electric bikes approved by Pine State Pedals
Bikes not purchased from Pine State Pedals may require inspection prior to enrollment.
Plan Terms
The service plan is prepaid and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The plan becomes non-refundable once service has been performed.
Additional repairs, parts, or diagnostics outside the annual service visit will be billed at the member labor rate.
Agreement
Payment for service or enrollment in the annual service plan constitutes acceptance of this service policy.
